‘Christmas present’ to Yorkhill
We are delighted that our 2014 Christmas Concert has enabled us to donate £800 to support the work of the Yorkhill Children’s Charity.
The charity has special significant for one of our special guests at the concert, X-factor star Nicholas McDonald, pictured here with two pupils from Craigholme School: Suzanne Murphy, soprano soloist at the concert and Lucy Welsh, a member of the Grace Notes vocal ensemble, who also sang at the concert, together with Anne Laird, our Choir Secretary and Aileen McConnell from the charity.
Charity ‘Christmas Jumper’ Rehearsal
We are looking forward to our most sparkly rehearsal yet – this year, ahead of our sell-out Christmas Concert the rehearsal will be festooned with Christmas Jumpers.
Choir members will be wearing their Christmas Jumpers, (or for those too posh to have one -Santa hats, tinsel, battery lights, or strings of baubles) and donating a minimum of £2 each to support our favourite charities.
