‘Keep the home fires burning’: our community & WW1
Join us as we contribute to a reflection on the lives of the fallen of WW1 and those touched by the war effort. The varied programme blends music and words relevant to the local Cameronian Regiment. Schools, theatre groups, choirs and ensembles will join to make the evening a memorable occasion for all, supported by the National Lottery through the Heritage Lottery Fund.

NO ADMITTANCE TO THE BUILDING WILL BE PERMITTED WITHOUT A VALID CONCERT TICKET, GOLDEN TICKET, OR PERFORMER’S TICKET.
This opportunity to meet and greet Nicholas will be held between 6 and 7 pm before the Christmas Concert itself. It is a ticket only event. A limited number of tickets are being sold.
Tickets at £10 each, can be requested by using the online form below, before end Friday 19th December, subject to availability.
Each ticket holder will have a few minutes with Nicholas and the opportunity to take a photograph if they wish. Tickets are divided into two time periods: 6.00-6.30 and 6.30 -7.00, with admission possible between 6.00-6.20 and 6.30-6.50 respectively. Ticket holders holding 6.00-6.30 tickets must leave by 6.30. The event will close promptly at 7.00 and only those attendees already holding concert tickets can remain in the building.
Please note that the choir ticket manager will contact you on receipt of your form submission. Tickets will be emailed. Payment for tickets (£10 each) in cash will be taken on the door. Admission without both a ticket valid for the admission time and payment will be refused. Children under 16 must be supervised by an accompanying adult. Only the ticket holder (and where necessary a single accompanying adult) will be admitted. Scarecrow Fesitval Gala Concert 2014

The Bothwell Scarecrow Festival Gala Concert is to be hosted by our own Mark Donnelly and will feature solo performances from young musicians who are already acknowledged as rising stars in their field.

Spring Concert 2014

What promises to be another spectacular Spring Concert will be held in St Brides Church, Fallside Road, Bothwell G71 8BA
As we are approaching the anniversary of World War 1, the concert will celebrate the world we are free to live in and will include some music from that time.
In addition we are looking forward to starring performances from:
- Luke Scott, baritone, who is his final Scottish performance before leaving to take up his place at The Royal Northern Conservatoire of Music where he will study for an Masters in Opera and performance.
- Alice Guse, a National MOD Gold Medalist on the Clarsach and pupil at Craigholme School in Glasgow.
Doors will open at 7 pm and the concert will commence at 7.30 pm. (We respectfully request that only performers should enter the Church before 7 pm). There will be a short interval during the concert. Tickets will be available at the door.
